The Presidents of all Law Students’ Society’s and Association’s within Victorian meet regularly as the Victorian Law Students’ Society (VicLSS) to collaborate on projects and share resources with one another.

Throughout the 2020/2021 term of the current Presidents a ‘Sexual Harassment Working Group’ was formed. This group was made up of representatives from each LSS/LSA. Together we created a space in which the issue of inappropriate sexual behaviour in the legal sector could be discussed and initiatives to address this issue could be created.

As a collective we have released this mission statement as the first step in our ongoing commitment to actively work to address the issue of sexual harassment within our student cohorts, at our universities, and in our profession. Find the mission statement here:

At Dictum Society you can contact President Mei Lole (president@dictumsocietyvu.com) to learn more about this initiative and the working group.
